How would you compare your one year aged penzance to back when it was fresh?
Huge change?
More pungent?
More one-dimensional? (one-dimensional can be delicious, not a bad thing)

Spartan I would love to give you a detailed report of the difference from fresh and aged Penzance. Its been so long since I've smoke it fresh and so many blends in between that I just cant give a fair comparison. I will definitely do a side by side comparison the next time that i get a new bag. I can say I loved it Fresh and i love it aged.

Just popped my jar of 4 month old Penzance and it had the first bits of plume on it too. Looking froward to more of this stuff.

Stig does that mean you have two different tobaccos with plume? I know you found some on your earlier post

Yep, that's 2 in a week. Weird part is the 30+ year old tins of MacBaren I opened a while back didn't have any. I can't compare this Penzance with new but it was pretty yummy.
