Plume refers to a feathering shape, and bloom refers to a plant like shape.
Bloom can also refer to any rapid increase in population.
Personally, I am rather fond of certain bacteria, fungi, and yeasts, if in the correct place.
Sort of like sheep. Bad in the living room, awesome on the back lot or bedroom.

that's how I like my plume

in my pipe with a bloom

a rock, a flake, a plant, a steak...
Steaks should not have plume,

nor Bloom

But, you cannot get more Seusish

than magic bugs that turn backy into... mineral deposits. :puffy:

I still think they're magic. More indicators of benevolence and an urge toward beauty hard-wired in the universe, or just crafty little Galtian flora. One wonders.
