Funniest thing I ever did , was I found a taxidermy mounted peacock in a storage unit and when I got done with it the thing was bald... Tied a lot of coachman flies with that hurl lol...

Guys, I can't tell you how much I enjoy looking over these flies you've posted. Thank you.

A couple of years ago, pictures of flies and old fly rods and reels and trout became indescribably beautiful to me.

I made a couple of glass rods, read a couple of books, and set out last summer to learn to fly fish. I didn't catch anything. But here in Marinette County - standing in the pools underneath our waterfalls - I never regretted the time on the water.

If any of you will be fly fishing in WI this year, and are willing to help a tyro who'll bring you whatever tobacco you want, please PM me. If not... keep posting your flies and other pics. I love it.
