To commemorate this thread I got myself a tattoo. Pooh Bear has found his honey hole.

My favorite B&M will set aside something that he knows that I'm interested in, or he will email me. He does the same with pipes from time to time. I'm not the only one that gets this service. He is just an awesome businessman who knows how to hold our loyalty. ...and get us to empty our wallets, ha ha.
If I had to set out on a hunt, I would start with the list of B&M's on this site, and just start the fingers to walking. If a store doesn't have what I want, ask the person on the other line for suggestions of other stores that may. If each failed lead gives you two or three other leads, pretty soon, you are doing real detective work. :wink:

Lol I just found out my B+M is not longer bringing in Capstan and that is readily available, do I really want to torture myself getting into blends no one can seem to get?!? Besides, up here an 8oz bag could run upwards of $120-150.

This is ridiculous. Yes, I agree that it is stupid to just tell everyone where to get hard to find tobacco. But if someone wants to do that, whatever, this is a public forum for pete's sake. I would be annoyed if someone gave away my sweet Stonehaven sources, but I would probably find another pretty easily. It has been weeks since the last Stonehaven shipment hit the US. Just yesterday, I got a wild hair on lunch break and called three tobacconists- bam, a bag of Stonehaven and three tins of Aylesbury Luxury Flake en route. Not exactly difficult.
