Hello from BC. I can tell you if you plant them all and take care of them, it will yield a lot of tobacco. I had five plants from smaller seedlings a few years ago that filled up one of those clear Costco leaf bags with the cured unprocessed leaf. The seeds number in the thousands, too, from that number of plants.

that's a snuff tobacco. :)
The Belomorkanal cigarettes from Russia/USSR use Rustica. A friend's father who travelled there often brought a package and my friend snuck out a few of these weird cigs back in the 90s and we tried them. They were absolutely unsmokable. Typical socialist thinking "the people want nicotine, let's give them a cigarette with enough nicotine to kill a bull moose and they'll be fine, to hell with taste".

not sure how socialist and just general national character that is. I've known more then a few Russians that moved here and complain about our weak flavorless cigarettes. I do remember back in the 90's getting a pack of Russian cigs and being blown away by the more filter then tobacco and general yuck of it. Only worst cigs I've had were from China, they tasted terrible and had less nic then I was used to.
