Please Help Identify a Dr. Grabow

Bought an estate lot of Kaywoodie pipes boxes and cloths. In a box was this Dr Grabow. Surprise. I know nothing about these from a collectors perspective. Would like to know the decade or year and maybe the model type.

The only markings are 9841 on the side of the stummel. Nothing else.

Since there are no series name on it, it could possibly be from 1930s-1940s.

Does Dr Grabow sometimes not put their logo on the pipe itself? I recently picked up a lot of 7 Belvideres and two are identical but one of the two has no markings at all on it. It does have the spade on the stem and it's an adjustomatic.

Go to the Dr. Grabow pipe forum and post the full pipe piox and the number on it. Bet you will get an answer shortly thereafter. Several of the guys there know the maker's history well.

Yes. Sometimes they have no stampings or spades at all but the shaping is obviously Grabow
