That's a great track.
I avoided acid like the plague, too afraid to not be in the driver's seat. But grass? Let's just say I should have bought stock in BBQ Fritos and Totino's Frozen/Party Pizzas...

Well,

I was very much a stupid idiot. I was a young punk rocker, not really the hardcore leather 'n spikes type, but more of a skatepunk. We would all dose up and go downtown to a sketchy area down on Marietta Street where the Metroplex was to see $5 HXC shows, what did I expect? LOL Thrusting myself into such a chaotic and intense atmosphere all arms 'n elbows in the frantic moshpit ain't exactly what 'ol Tim Leary would have prescribed...
...it was jammin' though, to see someone like the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles just tear it up, but it was a bit too much overload for my little blinking brain...

:
...a little bit later on I opened up to a wider variety of musical forms which I had always rejected as sleepytime hippyshit and so began my foray into the vast arena of euphonic euphoria with myriad earhole thunder punches coming from every 3rd angle open.
I was actually at this show, at the 688 in downtown Atlanta on Spring St. which was a little less sketchy - I was 17 years old and trippin' balls to the wall, and reaching full peak at around the 20:23 mark, then comes the almighty Jhonny Smoke @ 22:31, and it was an experience I will never regret!

I saw D.RI. in '90 or ''91, it was the Thrash Zone tour and had a helluva time. Moshed all night! As for any illicit substances I may or may not have ingested, we will have to leave that to history.

Did my share of rock festivals in the early 70’s. Some of my friends and I even tried to make it out to Woodstock, but the car (not mine as it was a ’67 Camaro and too small) broke down after about 100 miles or so. Made it out to the Kickapoo Creek Music Festival in 1970 and one, I believe, was in Portage, Wisconsin. As I remember, the one at Kickapoo Creek had beautiful weather over the Memorial Day weekend until there was a rainstorm, but that didn’t deter anyone from the creek were it seems most everyone discarded their clothes. I used to go to this place on State St. (near the old town district) called Beavers and see the Chicago Transit Authority before they became simply known as Chicago. Lots of good times, but it’s just too bad I can’t remember much of it! I took some pictures at Kickapoo Creek, but they are slides (Kodachrome 64, blast from the past!) so I obviously can’t post any pictures of them. As for drugs and what I did back then the simple, albeit not a definitive answer is...yes. Now, paradoxically, after all these years you couldn’t even pay me to blow a joint much less do any of the other totally insane things I did back then. Hell, I even gave my doctor a hard time not too long ago when he prescribed some Codeine pills for me when I had some back pain as I don’t at all care for taking any prescription drugs unless it’s absolutely necessary.
Wait a minute... how the hell did we get on this subject!

Glad someone commented on the quirks in the newly updated site. I always assume it's me, since it usually is. It's all my fault, guys. The Typhoid Mary of the cyber world. At least we're making it through to gripe. I always thought life was more than psychedelic enough without adding to the distortion and hilarity.

Back on subject: about three hours ago I made a reply post and got a window that said I was not allowed to post and to make sure I was logged in, which of course I was! It took me about eight tries before the that window/notification went away and my post finally went through. Whatever, as I'm confident that this crazy little glitch in the site will get sorted out eventually. Such is part and parcel on any given forum site from time to time.

Don't want to be a spoil sport, but today I've had no problems with lack of formatting nor with dropping logon credentials..... Fingers X'ed.

I'm sorry about the site. I'm out of the country on vacation with a slow Internet connection.
I know you guys were having fun, and blowing off steam, but this thread is useless as far as really telling me what the problem is. It would have been nice to see a screen shot of the problem.
I saw that the home page was missing content, which is what happens when the content pulled from SmokingPipes.com doesn't load.
That seems to have fixed itself as I am posting this.
It seems the forums were having an issue too, but since I'm not seeing it and there are just a bunch of jokes instead of a screen shot, I have no idea what is going wrong.

I deleted 20 posts that were here. Please don't be offended or take it personally if I deleted any of your posts. I wanted to make it easy for others to get to the relevant posts so we can see if this is fixed, or if there is still an issue.
IF THERE IS STILL A PROBLEM, PLEASE POST A SCREEN SHOT INSTEAD OF MAKING JOKE POSTS.
I am resuming vacation, but will take a peak in tonight, or tomorrow morning latest.

No need for a screen shot on this issue, but My Total Time Online suddenly went from 169 hours (yesterday), or there about, to -304 hours, 34 minutes this morning. That issue was also being discussed on THIS thread.
