Well,
I was very much a stupid idiot. I was a young punk rocker, not really the hardcore leather 'n spikes type, but more of a skatepunk. We would all dose up and go downtown to a sketchy area down on Marietta Street where the Metroplex was to see $5 HXC shows, what did I expect? LOL Thrusting myself into such a chaotic and intense atmosphere all arms 'n elbows in the frantic moshpit ain't exactly what 'ol Tim Leary would have prescribed...
...it was jammin' though, to see someone like the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles just tear it up, but it was a bit too much overload for my little blinking brain...

...a little bit later on I opened up to a wider variety of musical forms which I had always rejected as sleepytime hippyshit and so began my foray into the vast arena of euphonic euphoria with myriad earhole thunder punches coming from every 3rd angle open.
I was actually at this show, at the 688 in downtown Atlanta on Spring St. which was a little less sketchy - I was 17 years old and trippin' balls to the wall, and reaching full peak at around the 20:23 mark, then comes the almighty Jhonny Smoke @ 22:31, and it was an experience I will never regret!
