Anybody found plastic strings in the Capstan Blue before? Every flake I'm finding 4 or 5 of these plastic strings when I rub it out. This can't be normal, right?

But is it AGED plastic or just some shitty young plastic? Plastic gets soooo much better with age on it.
I've found bits of twine and string in a few blends, sometimes natural like jute or similar fibers, sometimes plastic, like this bit I found recently in Low Country Hazelnut bulk:

I’m pretty sure that’s a government manufactured tracking and anti forgery ribbon. You’ll have to cut the ones out of a $100 to confirm.

Highly useful would be also a photo of the back of the tin with the codes.
It might not help you in first step, but it would help the manufacturer a lot!

I'm thinking they forgot to remove plastic used during pressing and it got subsequently fed into the slicer.
