Tobacco plants produce nice flowers as well. Of course you should cut the flowers off to help them grow larger.

This is pretty cool. If I still had a house with a backyard and a garden, this would be fun to try, but I'm a city boy now.

How do you do the flue curing? Do you actually have access to a flue cure barn?
For commercial tobacco, Burley is usually air cured, while Virginia is flue cured, but you said you are flue curing Burley, which is quite interesting.

How do you do the flue curing? Do you actually have access to a flue cure barn?
Well its not flue curing in the traditional sense, the tobacco is just kept in a warm(48ºc) and humid(70%) environment for a few weeks in a small kiln.
