As much as I love relaxing in my backyard with a pipe there's a certain something about smoking in the great outdoors.
Hiked the same trail as last weekend since the trail we were going to hike apparently requires a reservation. I guess we'll hit that one next weekend.
This is a there and back trail which we hangout at the end of for a while so I get a pipe going and follow my daughter around while she explores. Occasionally I get a funny look but most people on the trail seem indifferent to my pipe with an occasional "I like your pipe" or thumbs up.
Anyway, today was some WCC Old Dominion I've had for about a year in my snail by carver Sergey Rusak with a flask of my usual A. de Fussigny Selection Cognac. Man the plum is just screaming in this blend with the age on it. Phenomenal with the Cognac.
Obligatory pics:
She had fun gathering sticks:
Some general pics of the trail/area:
Some friends went with us:
Someone fell asleep on the way back. Again:
Now relaxing at home waiting for some gyros and baklava to be delivered and enjoying some AE dor Extra Cognac:
I've preload a cob and a meer, one with DT Sweet Vanilla Honeydew and the other with GH&C Scotch Flake, in anticipation of hitting the pool after the food gets here.
I wonder what blend I'll choose for next week's hike?
