smoking, I know it can be frustrating when you expect to receive something and it is not there, when it happens multiple times it is a pain in the ass, but..........free tins trumps all in my book. I know you were just ranting last night and everyone is entitled to bitch and moan especially when it comes to our tobacco. lol

Yeah sorry to hear about your order SD. I've made two small orders with P&C in the last two weeks and they're shipping and handling was fast and well packaged. I think you were just unlucky and the night shift pack your order :lol: Better luck next time my man!

I have only placed 4 orders with them. 2 arrived timely and complete. The other 2 never arrived and I had to make Paypal claims to get the payment back. I would recommend 4 Noggins, smoking pipes or Iwan Ries. Ries is more costly, but often has things which are out of stock elsewhere.

hey guys, pipes and cigars have all my tobacs on back order. that is bullshit. I have made an order from smokingpipes.com. they have everything I need. I have been a p+c customer for a few years now. ever since the move p+c has not performed as they should, many tobacs are out of stock or on back order. I for one will not do business this way. it is bullshit. they were not prepared when the move took place. I may give p+c a second chance in the near future, but for now it is smokingpipes.com for me.

I've addressed the packing issues with our folks. Do I expect that we'll never have another problem? No. I'd be living in a fantasy world if I believed that, but I do expect that it won't happen very often.

As far as the stock issues go, we're receiving pallets every day, and the incoming orders are huge. We know that things could have been done better, but we're doing what's necessary to minimize the possibility of that happening in the future.

I understand people being frustrated, as I've gotten frustrated from time to time as well, but the desire to not feel that frustration anymore has spurred me on to work hard with our team to make the improvements necessary to right the ship.

In any case, I can appreciate everyone's viewpoint, and I'm here to help if I can, so please contact me directly if there's a problem that i can help with.

I placed an order with P&C last Sunday. It arrived today, all the items were in the box, and all is good. I haven't ever had a problem with them and as Harris pointed out they just can't be beat on some things.
I just wanted to give some praise here to them for a fine job in what I know is a tough time.
