All I have is two basket pipes that's all I can afford (unemployed for the last 6 months).
You are not alone my friend. Just have to stay motivated... It ain't easy.

I am fortunate/old enough to have just over 50 pipes, but I'm in that boat as well... (Since Sept. 14, 09).
My good looks, my MBA, and buck will get me a cup of joe at the local Micky D's, but that's about it.

:D

believe me i know what youre going through. happened to me twice when the economy started going to hell.

both son in laws went through it too. then i have a grandson with a severe case of dumb ass. has had six jobs and fired from each one. the sad part, someone unemployed with family could have had anyone of those six jobs. what really pissed me off was that he was a reservist and could have gone active duty but decides to drop out, claimed it was his knees. he needs a serious dose of tough love or drafted into the marines and learn to become a man.

now we all pray that he doesnt get his girl friend knocked up.

grouchy? who? me? nawwwwwwwwww

I will take one of everything so far and yet to be listed. My taste with pipes right now is very similar to being in a bar at closing time and looking for someone to bring home. I won't turn too many pipes down and honestly like almost every pipe I see.

Oh man, I just saw a Dunhill birthyear pipe on ebay for only 86$ so far, but I bet it'll go for much more. I want it but can't justify the spending. :(

Grouchy i understand your concerns regarding the grandson, and if as a reservist i think they should be drafted in. In general i think national service should be brought back into force this would be of great help to the unemployment levels. Sadly like unclearthur i'm too busted to do things. Though i have arthritis in the spine with 5 black holes where discs once were and nerve damge i have to use a wheelchair as walking is difficult, i soon hope to be returning to work as soon as the specialists tell me i can. Bored you bet i am, fed up your not kidding, lack of cash is depressing. The pipes i have i enjoy and my list for now at least has to remain short.

At the current moment, I'm content with what I have. I've spent a fair amount of money on the pipes I have, and I need to stop. That said, if a Bo Nordh or a Dunhill fell into my lap, I would not complain.

I would have to second the thought on a custom Uncle Arthur! One day the wife will loosen the purse strings enough, one day...
