Pipes of a Certain Year

Are any pipes identified by the year they were manufactured? If I wanted to buy a pipe from a standout year, such as a birthday or anniversary, would I be able to find one? Thanks.

Dunhill, Castello, and Parker have date stamps. Lee Von Erck date stamps his pipes. I believe that several other artisans date stamp as well.

I didn't know that about Castello. How do you identify the year?

Brands with “Pipe Of The Year” eg Stanwell
Pipes with sterling silver bands/ferrules eg Peterson and old Britwoods
Note: Britwoods meant for export do not have to have date hallmarks.
Some artisanal pipes eg Tsugi Ikebanas, (Danish) Carsten Idkov
