After ordering many times from P&C I've been prompted twice now by their 3rd-party service that's attempting to verify my age. I haven't had this irritating problem previously via P&C, and I have never been challenged by any other site period. I cancelled one order because I didn't realize they had a 3rd party age verification service and it felt like a scam--anyway, it spooked me, felt like someone was trying to get personal info about me, so I just cancelled the order. Think I ordered a couple more times from P&C, no problem. But last week, while attempting to use a coupon I was sent, I've been challenged again by 3rd party. I realize this isn't necessarily P&C's problem--it's the FDA, but I'm just letting my order die. If I don't prove my age to 3rd party within 5 days, the order's automatically cancelled. I know it's just me being a grumpy so-and-so, but I'm damn well old enough to buy tobacco & have been, and have been from P&C. And I'm a child of the time before the interweb and regulations and having to prove how old I am, and I'm just frankly over it completely. Disappointed because I like P&C, but I guess I don't like them enough to want to humor their 3rd party FDA compliant new policies that intermittently block my orders. Rant off, sorry.
