Pipe-Weed In The Shire

It’s been a while since he logged on but Isaac (@mortonbriar) wanted me to pass on a hello to the crew and he thought that you lot might be interested to see this pic.

Judging from the size of it, I’d say it’s some “old toby” variety that he has growing outside his house. As you can see it towers over him, so it is probably about 4-5ft high.

Edit: (correction) I have been informed that the plants are actually 10ft high and are going to seed all through the shire here at Hobbiton.

My dad built a hobbit house at the arboretum where my folks volunteer. Is this his or just visiting it!?

This is an actual hobbit house from the movies. There is a place not far from us called “Hobbiton” that you can visit. Basically they have kept the set running as a tour group destination. After walking around you end up in the green dragon inn where you sample some tasty beverages only available there

It depends on the day to be honest. If it’s during the work week he looks like Michael Bolton, or if he’s fresh on the weekend it’s more Kenny G. Either way, he shaved his filthy moustache off just before taking the shire pic, before then it was more of a skinnier hippier version of Ron Jeremy

That is so neat. As a huge fan of the lotr movies, I've always wanted to visit New Zealand and see the landscapes. Absolutely beautiful
