I'm a very infrequent cigar smoker, but I've found that I enjoy Warped cigars quite a bit. They're definitely more expensive than the cigars I smoked when I was younger, but as a very occasional treat I'll smoke them. I'm not a cheap person by any stretch of the imagination but I wouldn't want to spend that kind of money to make it a habit.

Please, anyone who feels like it, give me your spiel to a piper about what the deal is with cigars. How would you prime a piper who is looking to getting into cigars? Any and all explanations, anecdotes, and even constructive heckling are welcome.
What is the deal with cigars? They are wayyy overpriced rolled tobacco leaves.

They can be good, occasionally great, but can’t match pipe blends for variety and depth, for me.

A nice analogy I read here is that if a cigarette is fast food, a cigar is a great steak, and a pipe is a seven course meal.

Try Toscanos, cheap as chips, pack a punch, taste great. If you like Kentucky blends a Toscano will tick many boxes for you.

I'm currently moving from cigars to pipes.
I've loved cigars for years.

I'm finding that the two don't really align for flavors. I wish they did, there are some cigar flavors I'd LOVE to have in a pipe. Would save a GRIP of money.

I feel like I get a LOT more smoke and fuller body from the cigars I like. I miss that.

Flavor wise, I'm too new to pipes to make comparisons.

Pipes fill part of the cigar itch, but also a different itch for me.
