I really like these. For scale purposes, approximately how long are these?

I'm sorry, I seem to be not getting notifications anymore. They are approximately three inches long. Each weighs in at a tad under on oz. IMO, they are the perfect weight to just use the weight of the tamp to crush the tobacco without forcing the tobacco down like a cannonball.

These are awesome cosmic but do they stab you in the hand if you reach for one in a pocket?

I mentioned in another tamp thread that the spade end is very blunt. I shove my hands into my pockets with the tamp all the time, and never even a scratch.

Made this one a long time ago. There was an online contest to make a tamper from acrylic rod. I was going for the prow of a Viking longship.

Some really neat ideas here! I tend to use the built-in tool from my xikar lighter or a normal pipe tool.
