Some great brands listed. I'll add Brebbia, kinda midrange price wise. They've got their hands on some great briar and they do a wonderful job seasoning it. Always a very light pipe, and wonderful smokers.

This is a Good question as I have a serveral no names that smoke as well as a mid to high end range pipe.

some of my best smokers are my Mr.Brogs a no name bent stem mini from pipe and cigars and a few French and Itialin no names.

My first pipe is Peterson. And I do agree with Mick. If you can afford $200, buy 2 to switch and feel the difference.

Stanwell and Peterson are definitely some of the best bang for your buck pipes out there. I only have one Luciano, but if it is any indication of their general level of quality then I would say that they are a very good bang for your buck.
