I'm pretty sure this has been done before. But I ran across a picture of one of my favorite English melodeon players: Mr Tony Hall, an avid pipe smoker and IMO one of the finest players of that rather peculiar instrument.BTW, he is also famous for his lifetime profession as a cartoonist and satirist.TonyHall.jpg

To stop the confusion, never smoked pipes while playing bagpipes. J/K! Didn't start pipe smoking until long after stopped playing bagpipes. Only smoked Marlboro Red back then. I could somewhat play practice chanter with cigarette between my fingers those days.

I am not kidding when I tell you that seeing Donald Duck Dunn on the Blues Brothers was my original inspiration for smoking a pipe. I was a kid and it just looked cool as hell. I started paying more attention to pipe smokers from that day forward.
Excellent. I’d only ever thought of the movie as being influential in introducing another generation to some legendary older artists and their music.
