Pipe Smoking In Bed

I pretty much exclusively smoke in bed.

The great thing I've found with pipe smoking is that the smoke smell dissipates and does not leave a foul odor compared with smoking cigarettes or cigars.

One cannot tell that a pipe has been smokes unless it has been smoked very recently.

Oh how I wish I could smoke in bed. My wife use to let me smoke in bed. So relaxing,and luxurious. But sadly those days are over. Got kids with asthma in the house and she has become kind of a clean freak in the past years. I doubt the days of smoking in bed are ever going to return. But it was so nice. Watching a movie chillin. I'd love to smoke a pipe in bed.

Well if you consider the front seat of a wrecker a bed sure I have smoked in my bed (typically winter time after being up for 30+ hours pulling stupid people out of the ditch did the front seat become my bed)....however at home I generally smoke in my easy chair or at my desk.

smoking in bed has taken quite a few people over the years. One of the things I only do after using a bed as a staging ground for aerobic cuddling (euphemistic terms for the deed are just really fun to come up with, my most favorite is still "talking theology" as in "oh god")

pretty likely. The difference I've noticed is people actually tend to like the smell of certain pipe smoke. People sometimes let me smoke a pipe in their nonsmoking house and trust me they let me know the smell lingers, as a positive note by the way.

This thread is another great reason why the desk/table pipe needs to come back! Bowl is safely on the nightstand, just draw comfortably and contentedly on the hose as you read (or whatever.)

I was thinking, it would be disastrous to shit in bed, while on fire, the smell of burning shit, with the smell of tobacco ash, plus the materials in the room, plastic, textiles, a pack of chewing gum flavored berries, a bottle of anti-inflammatory joint spray. And a tin box, where you keep ammunition and a bag of army food of beef stew.
