Just saw the new Wes Anderson (pretty nearly the same sentence that started the original thread back in 2023).

In it, one of the stars, Mia Threapleton (Kate Winslet's daughter, BTW) smokes a pipe off and on throughout.

In the beginning, it's a clay, which is curiously, possibly humorously, made to resemble a cob. Then later on, a weird looking briar, also modified to look like a cob, which another member identified as a one off Dunhill. Thread here: Dunhill in Movie-The Phoenician Scheme. :: General Pipe Smoking Discussion - https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/dunhill-in-movie-the-phoenician-scheme.109807/

While she never tamps, her smoking mechanics are pretty sound and far more realistic than Jason Schwartzman in Asteroid city, so either she had a better coach, or she actually listened to him.

This is not pipe sighting at the movies, but I was too lazy (couldn’t be arsed) to find another more appropriate thread. My daughter gifted me this t-shirt a few years ago but I have only recently noticed the fisherman in the emblem is smoking a pipe! It’s from the Copenhagen craft brewery Mikkeller from their brewpub on the Danish island of Bornholm.Image.jpeg
