#10 Long-shanked, saddle-stemmed billiard#10. NOT a Lumberman. Closer to a Lovat, but actually a saddle stemmed billiard.
It also may be that a few of the photos on the OP aren't the clearest/have shadowsThis is why I love this thing of our. I read down the thread going, Yes! I agree with this guy. Hmm. Well Shit, I agree with this guy. Hmm, wait. This guy is right. haha. So I mishmashed all the other guys and came up with this:
1. Quarter bent Apple
2. Half Bent Apple
3. Billiard
4. Zulu or Yachtsman
5. Half Bent Apple
6. Panel Billiard
7. Half Bent Billiard
8. Dublin
9. Quarter Bent Chubby Billiard
10. Pretty long stemmed for a Lumberman. You could get away with that, or the Saddle stem billiard.
Wait until you get into the Bulldog vs Rhodesian bunfightManufacturers don't make it easy either, identical pipes are labelled differently by different makers.

I thought the difference was that bulldog's had a square stem and rhodesian's had round stems?Wait until you get into the Bulldog vs Rhodesian bunfight

That is the generally accepted definition now.I thought the difference was that bulldog's had a square stem and rhodesian's had round stems?
A lumberman is a longshanked saddle stemmed billiard, no? If not, what's the difference.I would've thought that as well were it not for this.

The shank on 10 is ovalA lumberman is a longshanked saddle stemmed billiard, no? If not, what's the difference.
The description of the article you cite-"A Lumberman is...a round shank, saddle bit" is not what I understood a lumberman was.
This article states that a lumberman should have an oval shank- https://www.smokingpipes.com/smokingpipesblog/single.cfm/post/canadian-pipe-shapes
I think we'd need a #10 top view of the shank to know if it's oval or round.
Not trying to argue, but to learn.
It just depends who you ask really. Some say that a bulldog is a rhodesian and a rhodesian is a bulldog. Even if the shank were round, it's out of proportion with the bowl to be a billiard and the stem is too long to be a lovat.A lumberman is a longshanked saddle stemmed billiard, no? If not, what's the difference.

I prescribe to the four member family for Canadian pipes. Oval shank and taper is Canadian, oval shank and saddle is Lumberman, round shank taper is Liverpool, and round shank saddle is Lovat.I would've thought that as well were it not for this.

Not to split hairs, but Bulldogs have diamond shanks. Panels often have square. #orientationmattersI thought the difference was that bulldog's had a square stem and rhodesian's had round stems?
