I have a few.. Also some very nice unsmoked/as new ones, that I bought about 15 and 5 years ago, but still haven't smoked. Not that there is anything wrong with them. I hope.

Can we get more of an explanation on that. My answer is no, every pipe I own gets smoked the minute it hits my door way. If I am in the middle of another pipe, I stop smoking it and light the brand new one. Yes I am just like a kid at Christmas.

Personally I don’t have any that I don’t smoke. I don’t think I’d get a pipe if I didn’t plan to actually smoke it. I get it..but for me if I decide to buy it I’m going to smoke it.
I don’t have one. I will smoke them all or get rid of them. I no longer buy things to collect them anymore. They need to be used and have a place or they are gone.

smoke it damn it. I bet it smokes like a champ. A flake packed properly in will give a decent smoke. And my guts tell me that pipe is a golden smoker.I have an extremely small, straight grained Eltang with a foot and a gold band. I have it sitting on my desk and will probably never smoke it. It's very small + I prefer it more as a display piece. It's the only pipe (out of the 100 or so I have owned) that I have never smoked.

I have only one pipe that I haven't smoked yet. The only reason is that it has yet to arrive. That situation should be remedied tomorrow.
No. I make it a point to smoke all my pipes.
It's not that I won't smoke some pipes. It's just that I don't see any point in smoking anything other than Peterson. If I find NOS Peterson that's exceptional, I might look at it more than few min before smoking it.
I have one I have not smoked yet and I've had it for a year... It's the one on the right. Silver Gray aptly named it the Bullsitter and she said she will never make another. That's a lot of pressure... LOL!

Is there no way to get it smokable?
I thought of using one of those mesh thingies or a few meer chips at the bottom of the bowl.
Will give that a go soon.
