I like the E. A. Carey "Magic Inch" range of pipes. They cool and remove moisture without passing the smoke through a filter. Certainly worth a look.

I'll have to agree with Cyndi: I've never had a bad Savinelli
I cant say the same I have a Sav Trive that is the worst piece of crap I ever smoked. I thought I could not go wrong with all the high recommendations boy was I wrong!

Notice all the references to Peterson and Savinelli in the responses offered thus far. There is a reason for this. Whether from Dublin or Milan, these companies represent centuries of skilled craftsmanship at a reasonable price. I own several of each and tell you by first hand experience that you can't go wrong with either maker.
