pipe rack

no you need a pipe rack. lol i have some real nice wood gun racks in storage. looking at

pstlpkr pipe rack it got me thinking. may be able to add some shelves. i keep my guns in a safe and no longer use them. one has a nice storage area under it. going to dig them out. who knows.

Hey, they're mock ups and aren't supposed to look good, just test for functionality of design. Keep going, it will be interesting to see the final result. Best of luck...

The cardboard is a good idea. Most of my mockups and R&D pieces are in pine. But then the final work is in expensive hardwoods.

Put torn strips of masking tape all over it then brown shoe polish . Remember the pencil holder from the first grade you made .It will look like wood or like it came from IKEA .lol

Here's one I may be duplicating in the very near future as I'm more of a "copier" than a designer.
A few changes will be in order though,....dark stained 1/2" red oak instead of 3/4" pine, and a heavy chamfer on all drilled holes. (no sharp edges for my babies.) And it'll be a 24 hole wall mount version.
