Pipe Preference

Bents and straight. I Can't say that I prefer one style over the other. These days I'm mostly smoking my straight pipes: Lovats, Canadians, Dublins but I still grab a bent bulldog or one of my Peterson Systems once in a while.

I'm still a very new pipe smoker , only own a handful of pipes so far & seem to prefer bent pipes a bit more than straight ones

I love to smoke bents but hate to clean them. That's why I prefer half-bents.

I like bent, of all kinds. Straight pipes don't really "speak to me" like bents, so I'll probably never own one. Not that I haven't seen any really nice ones. I've seen quite a few on these forums that are quite nice. Just not for me.

When I first started smoking a pipe I bought mostly 1/4 and 1/8 bent pipes. Now I tend to look more at the bowl and weight, so about equal on straight and bent pipes. My favorite for smoking while seated is a fairly large (3 ounces) 1/4 bend, I hold it as much as I clench it.

I kinda go in phases. But I would say that a prince is my favorite.

I prefer partial bends, but there are a few straight pipes I would buy up if I had the money.

Bents, but only 1/8 or 1/4. The prince is by far my favorite pipe shape.

Wow, this was created 2 years ago I just noticed. Well my answere has not changed one iota, I am still a 50/50 guy.

Must be bent to some degree. Except the cobs, any shape or form is acceptable.
