I'm not sure why but this pipe is beautiful to me, but I like Matt finish on many things

If you are talking about my photos, she gave me a Canon Mark5d ii and a "macro" lens. None of that means anything to me, LOL
I assume the camera isn't that expensive because she said the lens is worth more than the camera (which is why I had to be really careful)

Yes, I was talking about your photos Peck. Well, the 5D Mark II isn't exactly a cheap camera, but yes, many of the lenses are more expensive than the camera bodies. :) Photography is my other hobby that drains my wallet, and I shoot with Canon equipment as well. Thanks for the info, and I hope to see more photos from you!

Perfectly posed pipe pics peck. lol
I love the Cooke. Is there a big difference in the smoking properties of the Cooke as compared to a Rad or Ruthenberg?

Harris - not that I can tell. They all smoke extremely dry with perfect air flow - same for the weaver, Batson and joe nelson pipes. Other more disceerning folks may tell you that they can tell one from the other, but not this guy. Truth be told, I have only smoked one of the four Cookes so far. I know that is blasphemy, but I just haven't had the time lately to devote to breaking in a new pipe. When I am working it is just far easier to grab a pipe that's already broken in. I want to savor the break in, and that takes time.
Maybe, dare I say it, I have too many pipes.
