Our featured interview on tonight’s Pipes Magazine Radio Show is with Nate King, the “King of Pipes”. Most people know of Nate as an excellent pipe artisan. He also has an honorary Master of Pipes degree from the Chicagoland Pipe Collectors Club, and is a member of the prestigious Confrérie des Maitres Pipiers de Saint-Claude. Nate has just returned from pipe shows in France and Columbus, Ohio. He will be talking to Brian about those experiences. At the top of the show Brian will have a tobacco review of Cornell & Diehl’s Engine #611. It’s an aromatic blend with black Cavendish, Virginias, and Burleys – sweetened with a hint of coumarin vanilla.

The show airs every Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern US time, and can be found at PipesMagazine.com and all podcast apps.

I appreciate you having special news correspondent Nate King on the show to report on the St Claude pipe show. Now, get to work Nate, so I can check out your pipes in October. It sounds like a wonderful area to visit and a fun pipe show if I ever make it to France. I have to make it to Vegas first!

Engine #661 sounds like a solid aro to keep around for when the itch for one comes about, or needing a blend with a good room note.

The St Claude show is the first pipe show my wife is begging me to go to. Thanks for the heads up on booking a room Nate. Sounds like it was a great show.

Thanks for another great show!
