Our featured interview on tonight's Pipes Magazine Radio Show is with J.B. “Brandon” Frady. Brandon was first on the show as a new pipe maker back in 2023. He was already making amazing pipes then, and now he has evolved to even better pipes that are functional works of art. His pipes are freehand and artistic shapes and designs. He is also a freelance writer for any type of project, but has been published for music reviews, concert reviews, and other writings in a couple dozen professional publications. On March 12, he will be performing in a live comedy competition. At the top of the show, Brian will have what he thinks will be an “unpopular and controversial tobacco review” on McClelland 5100 that Brian blended himself in 2019, and has been aging since then.

The show airs every Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern US time, and can be found at PipesMagazine.com and all podcast apps.

Always a good time to hear about your pipe or tobacco experiments. May the bowls of that mixture be enjoyable to the last bowl.

Glad to hear JB is still at it carving pipes. Getting advice from Alex Florov must lower the learning curve a lot. Hope JB will be at the Vegas show again in the near future.

Music was an interesting fun change of pace.

Hope everyone has a great time at Muletown.

I ask that everyone have a bowl in LadyFire’s honor. She was a bright light and a joy to talk to at pipe shows. The community will really miss her.

In the wake of many blends going away, I got to thinking about your blending of McClelland and if we should be hiding it way as a precious commodity to only be put on a shelf. I quickly came to my senses and agree with you that we should enjoy it for the tobacco it is and what we want to do with it. Enjoy it, Mix it, and Smoke it! Otherwise you just leave it to your kids and chance it getting thrown out or sold for flavored seltzer water money......
