Our featured interview on tonight's Pipes Magazine Radio Show is with pipe maker Brian Laurent. Brian has worked with his hands since he was 14-years old. He’s been a woodworker for over 20 years. After he became a pipe smoker, he started making pipe racks, and then graduated to making pipes. He also enjoys painting, working on hot rods, cooking and baking. For his regular job he is a dental technician, implant specialist, and full mouth reconstruction specialist. At the top of the show we will have an Ask the Tobacco Blender segment with Jeremy Reeves. Jeremy is the Head Blender at Cornell & Diehl, which is one of the most popular boutique pipe tobacco companies in the USA.

The show airs every Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern US time, and can be found at PipesMagazine.com and all podcast apps.

In many ways this stands out to me as a perfect interview. Not having been familiar with the subject or his work, Brian did a fantastic job of digging in, creating curiosity, and helping give... well... also Brian... his own voice. The interview held my interest and I was surprised at how quickly was over.

Even still, the biggest takeaway for me personally was that this interview marks the first time I've ever listened to Bon Jovi on purpose. (And probably the last!)

Wow first you had Pete Prevost, then Per, and now Brian. Thanks for catering the guests to my preferences.

It's great to see more Michigan pipe makers like Brian @Laurent and @Adam @ Rust Belt Pipes following behind LVE. If there are more you know about please let us know, Brian. Brian as in Brian L. As in the guy whom we heard talking. OK now I don't know who I'm talking about anymore.
