Pipe Identification

Hi All,

I recently acquired a black rusticated pipe with a hexagonal bowl with "von eickens Junior 62" markings. I cant seem to find anything on the internet other than von eickens tobacco company but nothing about pipe making. Maybe it was a promotional thing. I will try and get a picture up if I can. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. My guess is that they had the pipes made elsewhere and then offered them in a catalog. Anyway, it is a neat looking pipe. I like paneled pipes so it's a winner in my book. Enjoy.

I couldn't find anything more online than you did; and, like you, I'm guessing that it's a house brand made by some other company. But the Junior 62 marking suggests that this was something more than a one-off promotional item, and suggests a line of pipe shapes or styles. It might be worthwhile writing to the tobacco company for some information.
