I picked this lovely pipe up on eBay (paired with a nice Butz Choquin), but I've no idea what it is - anyone have any ideas? There seems to be a faint logo to the left of 'London made', the number stamped is 7469 and the white dot on the stem is an insert, not paint. Any help appreciated!

It could be a GBD product. They have some shape numbers in the 7xxx range. Is the stem vulcanite or acrylic?

I have a late ‘80s GBD that has a 4 digit shape number and the “London Made” stamp. It has the GBD rondel on the stem. Could your dot be a vestige of a rondel? Either way, it is a good looking pipe. I hope it smokes well.

Not interested in any value, I know enough to spot the hidden gems hopefully. Bought the pair as the Butz and this one were shapes I liked (I'd been looking for a Canadian or similar), in good nick and reasonably priced too. Smoked the Butz today, this one will be trialled tomorrow ?

You know, after a bit or research with a manufacturer to refer to I think you are spot on. Fits with catalogue pictures of their Liverpool and the use of a metal roundel held by a pin matches too, with mine broken off.
