pipe hard case?

i have often just wanted to carry a pipe with me but due to my lifestyle i am afraid of breaking one. does any one have a way of carrying them?

I don't know just how hard they are, not owning one myself, but one of them cases you usually get with Meerschaums could probably be moulded after a briar just as well.

WalMart carries hard cases for reading glasses that probably would hold a small pipe.

The only hard pipe cases I've ever seen were the one's that meerschaum pipes usually come in. I'm not sure what kind of lifestyle you live, to be worried about breaking a pipe. I can suggest this, try looking in a sporting goods store or maybe a place like Best Buy... I remember buying a waterproof ballistic case to keep my old PDA in years ago, it was big enough to fit a pipe in.

You can buy water bottles that come with snaps to hook on Your belt. I made one with some art foam inside so My pipe don't move, even has room for baccy and all stays nice and dry if in the rain or things like fishing.

thanks for the tips guys. i hike and backpack a lot and putting a pipe in a day pack is reckless if you ask me at least when hiking and jumping its just unnerving.

Those cheap blue closed cell foam sleeping pads are wonderful for cutting up and padding things.

Pelican cases.. www.pelican-case.com they come in any size you want and are tough as hell. I have them from all sizes. Rifles, pistols, EOTech sights, to a smart phone. Go to their web site and you will find what you need.
