Pipe Grip Ambidextrous (or Lack Therof)?

I'm a lefty I smoke on my left side exclusively, I pack with my left hand light with my left hand and tamp as well. I tried hanging my pipe on the right side and it was a real struggle just to keep it from falling out.

I tried counting, but lost it...interestingly enough it seems that most don't care which side, and more people than I expect are left handed, as am I.

I'm right-handed, but almost always hold the pipe in my left hand, and in the left side of my mouth. I think I do this because I use the right hand for the lighter, tamper, etc. Almost never clench.
I do the same thing with my phone and mobile phone, I think for the same reason - using the right hand to push buttons.

That may speak to the attraction of the briar and pipe smokers being of the artistic bent
