I find that gripping my pipe on the right side of my mouth feels normal and comfortable, but gripping it on the left side is akin to writing with my other hand. Wondering if others had a preferred side, or am I unusual in this?

I grip and smoke on the left side. Im also a left handed writer, shooter, and just about everything else. I feel crippled if I try to smoke with the right side

I'm right handed but I tend to favor clenching and puffing the pipe on the left side of my mouth. However, doing it on the right side doesn't feel unnatural and I'll occasionally switch it up just to keep things interesting. :puffy:

Normally I am a bit of both. I write with my left hand, throw with my right hand, and eat with both hands (or use utensils in polite company, haha )

i use either hand for everything but pipe sits in left side always. funny cause if i use left hand to put pipe in mouth it goes in left side, if i use right hand to put pipe in mouth, it still goes in left side, as my pic will verify

I can smoke with either hand, but the pipe always ends on the the right side. The funny thing is I can clench cigars but not pipes. That makes it easier to smoke a cigar if i'm doing something.

I'm ambidextrous anyway, but my left hand is dominant, if that makes sense. I feel perfectly comfortable holding my pipe in any hand, in any side of my mouth.

I'm a bit ambidextrous. I can Do lots of things with both hands. I'm predominantly right handed, but some things I do almost exclusively with my left. Pipe smoking is one of the things i'm ambidextrous

I'm left handed at everything. I even have a callous on the inside of my lip on the left side where my pipe sits in my mouth. Smoking on the right is doable but not comfortable at all.

Left side, right side or in the middle. It all depends on which way the winds blowing.

I'm right handed and generally, I grip with my right hand and clench with the left side of my mouth. I switch it up every once and a while during my smoke though.

I'm either writing or using the mouse with the right hand. So I've always smoked with the left, even cigs. When typing, I clench on the left.
