If you ever make it to Louisville, the Derby City PC meets at Kremers on Saturdays.

Hey pipeonthebrink, there is CAPS - the Cincinnati Area Pipe Society that meets the 4th Saturday of the month at Straus on Mall Road. I haven't gone there yet on meeting day to see if it's still happening, but they have an Instagram page:

I live in Newport by the way, and work downtown directly across the street from Straus' Walnut St. location.
I've been to Covington twice, and I really like the town. It's right across the river from a metropolis but has the feeling of a small town, but with more pleasant small restaurants and a German-made town clock that depicts the story of the Pied Piper on the hour.
If there is a place that deserves a good pipe shop and pipe club, Covington would be it.
Both Covington and Cincinnati sit high on the banks of a swift running part of the Ohio River, except some parts of Cinci don't sit high enough and have seriously flooded including the major league ball park.

Hi ScooterMcCoy! I reached out to Straus in Florence, and they told me they no longer have any pipe clubs that meet there. I was also told that CAPS is no longer together. I did learn about a group, the Pipe Club of OTR, that meets in Cincinnati every 2nd Thursday. They have a Facebook page. I have not had a chance to attend yet, but I plan to visit. I’m moving to Independence, Ky in June-ish. Was hoping to start up a pipe club if one didn’t exist. Maybe the wonderful guys at Strauss Tobacconists may help from time to time. I’m a hobby pipe maker and love all things pipes and tobacco. Can find me also on Instagram as clever_codger.

Unfortunately no clubs anywhere near here. The two closest B&M's are each an hour away and they seem to have some regular pipe customers but I don't know of any around me. It's strange, considering 80% or so of the DFK in the world is cured right here.
Thought about trying to get a club going, but if I have to go two+ hours away it kind of defeats the purpose.

The OTR guys look like a fun bunch, but their webpage seems to have been static for 10 years. When we get settled, I’ll send a blurb out to see who’s interested and we’ll get together for a pint & bowl.I’m looking forward to visiting Convent, LA and the home of Perique on my slow trip to KY. Will have some news for our first meeting. Hope to also help anyone interested in pipe making to give it a try. Here’s my latest.
