My PCoL 2019 POY Just arrived. Very nice looking piece with a very cool tamper and a note signed by Armellini Mauro (with affection). I'm very happy with this year's pick.

We don't hear about Armellini pipes very often, but the few times I remember of them being mentioned have been very positive. Yours is quite nice. And a spigot to boot! Is it silver or nickel? I'm going to guess silver. Lovely pipe, regardless. Enjoy the heck out of it! :clap:

That is definitely a POY to write home about.

What's impressive about that pipe to me is the successful bringing together the metalwork with the briar and stem. Not done with an anointed touch, it would have been too much metal and looked like a hot rod's V-8, but they got it just right, as only the London Pipe Club could, maybe.
