No it is not. Like brian63 said, it is non-adhesive. It clings to itself and I don't believe you are suppose to stretch it. Check out the reviews on Amazon. I think a lot of people were expecting it to be like electrical tape and were disappointed.

Received the dry vinyl tape, that is way easier than the soft bits or heat shrink and it's multi purpose. Thanks ..great advise!

I started out with them but found that the mouth-feel of the button was totally abandoned and made nearly uniform across my pipes. Each pipe maker, be it factory or hand made, personalizes the feel and is a part of the experience.
