I wear my father's good boots, and the hat on my head in my avatar was his as well. I hope you get a chance to soon visit both your father and father in law.

Around here where we live folks visit the graves of family quite often and decorate them also. My wife and I visit her family's graves at least four times a year, and put some new seasonal artificial flower on the graves. We always replace the flag on her dad's grave if needed as he was a retired Navy man.
Anthony, I like what you did, and maybe the next time the other family visits they'll see it, and realize that the flags need replacing from time to time. Thanks!

Thx, anthony. Pop died in '94 & my mom in '07; Don (father-in-law) died in '15. Every time we go to Louavul we always hit Cave Hill to see him & Dorothy. They're just down the street from Col. Sanders & Muhammed Ali. Everybody who's anybody in Louisville is in Cave Hill. Last time we dropped by a couple of months ago they were all playing bridge. }
