There is a slight problem tho. The pipe cleaner cannot go through from the mouthpiece end
Hmm.. I use BJLong regular cleaner and it goes through Peterson stems both fishtail and P-lip. Not sure about other pipes. MM Cob, and Morgan Bones are no issues either.
Falcon pipe cleaners are thinner than most others. They might fit a narrower draught hole. Sometimes a bend in the stem is too severe for a cleaner to make it through. As suggested above, going at it from both ends may be necessary. You can slightly curl the end of the pipe cleaner to help facilitate it getting past a sharp curve. Good luck!
You can always separate the stem from the shank and then clean the shank and then the stem.
My solution is a church warden bristle type,
Because it is stronger and hold up better to the harder push required.
Okay, so is the cleaner shorter then the stem, or is just getting stuck for some reason? And what kind of pipe and stem?
Silly question, but are you putting the pipe cleaner in from the correct side of the stem?
Quite often I find it's more difficult to pass a pipe cleaner from the right, where the button is located.
Most times I have very little difficulty passing a pipe cleaner from the bowl. As you can see in the illustrations below.

I always break my pipe in half for cleaning. Unless a churchwarden, like it has been said allready, there shouldn't be a problem..
Pipe cleaners are expensive. Cut the pipe stem so that the pipe cleaner is longer than your pipe.
They sell extra long pipe cleaners like for school kids. I use those and cut them in half.
Wait....just when you think you have mastered the pipe cleaner, they add directional cleaning!? Have I been using pipe cleaners backwards? Aw man....
I tried using the soft pipe cleaner to clean first then use the hard one next but still cannot go all the way. Is there any way to unblock the blockage ?
Do you have a filter in your pipe? A stinger?
