Pipe Case In Singapore

Recently while on holiday in Singapore I saw this piece in a museum there. It was very intricate and about 12-14 inches long. Saw a lot of people smoking cigarettes but no pipe smokers. A couple of shops were selling pipes in the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall. Interestingly vaping is banned there I think it was a SG$2000 fine if you get caught

Pretty neat but without a matching pipe Imma pretend they got it wrong and it's actually a case for a very small golf club.

Seriously, I can't imagine someone making that case without a specific pipe in mind. But golfers on the other hand...

Interesting piece. I find it interesting to have such an intricate case for clay pipes, when clay pipes were often thought of as disposable.
