Pipe Carving

Well I just ordered the Eric Nording crave your own pipe. I am excited to give it a shot! Has anyone done this? How did it turn out? Any good advice?

Well Jack....I'm not skilled enough or brave enough to go down this road....please post photos as your project proceeds....

I will try, I will be in West Africa soon so gettin on line can be tuff. But if I can I will - I may get more laughs then nice pipe! Over all should be pretty fun.

this pipe is from a nording block, i just order a large block.

out of the seven pipe i made nording knows how to put a big draft hole. best smokin pipe i own and i own a bunch.

the grain was ok but i decided to do a rustic look. i used a dremil tool.

I just ordered the Nording kit also today. So it will intresting when it gets here.

its fun. wish i was more artistic. never have a design in mind.

next one i will draw a design out and try to make it.

I am kinda grabbing ideas off of other sites and pipe makers. I am not very artisic but I will give it a go. I just have to remember to be patient.

It's very nice, i like rustic aspected pipes much.
