It'll be a momento. Always frustrating when it happens, but it won't affect smoking. I have a dent on the ferrule of nice System pipe that fell off it's stem in Glasgow when I was stumbling around jet-lagged. So now it's a reminder of that nice trip.
The metal ferrule has a dent.
No cracks to the shank, so no real damage done.

Cosmetic damage which will not affect how the pipe smokes.
Sometime ago the same thing happened to one of my favourite pipes. I dropped it onto concrete and a chip got knocked off the end of the shank.
It was very superficial of me, but it was a rounded Danish design and I loved cradling it when I smoked it. The chip was a flaw that irritated me.
In the end I gave it away.

There's a simple test for this....
1. Sit down and load your pipe.
2. Lite it up and smoke for a while.
3. If a ball of flaming tobacco falls in your lap, it's broken.

Did the stummel fall off the stem and hit the ground? Any event, smoke it in good health! No worries.

What make of pipe is that? Hard to tell from your photos but looks to me like one of those cheap Chinese pipes? If that's the case, I recommend you chuck it & get a better quality one.

Once it's lit and smoking.. Does it matter what it looks like? It's strange that I buy my pipes for looks, and I choose them to smoke on that day for the look. But once I get going with smoking, I forget about what it looks like. It's all about how it smokes, and the flavor the tobacco provides.
