OK, I took a look at the site and yuck! If this is redefining beauty then they have really bastardized the word ‘beauty’. Nothing more disgusting and a complete turn off than seeing a girl with piercings and tattoos, but that’s just my opinion. Then again, we still have the deplorable name ‘SuicideGirls’ which itself connotes a very disturbing mindset with the owner and those who post pictures on it.
Sorry for getting way off the subject, but someone else brought up a ridiculous comparison between that sick site and Pipe Babes. As for the Pipe Babes I personally find it all just innocent fun and nothing more. It’s not as if it is shoved in your face and an integral part of the site. One must click on the link to see it and if it in any way disturbs you then simply don’t click on the link. Pretty simple eh! :wink:

Thanks, Phil. I was just looking at the Pipe Babes section, and saw the lovely Gina Roode in a very non-provocative, natural environment, not at all seductive. Anyone looking at this lady should click on the YouTube link that will lead you to Gina's furious guitar playing. And for the record, Gabrielle is an extremely talented and accomplished person.

Personally, I just don't see it, yes these women are all very pretty and some are beautiful.

But Pipe Babe?

How about women of the briar? This makes more of an equality statement and perhaps opens the door for a more interesting and stimulating discussion on pipe smoking and the enjoyment of the hobby.

I'm down for that. I like fashion, probably not as much as you do Kevin lol, and it's cool to get ideas of different things to wear or ways to wear them from photo shoots.

I'm confused. Why would anyone here want to see guys do model shoots? (Unless, of course, you're oriented that way.) I suppose distinguished gentlemen, scholars, like JRR Tolkein, would make for interesting shoots, say some intellectual or scholar smoking a pipe with a book and a dog next to a fireplace would be interesting, but I don't want to see buff guys smoking!

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing pretty women.

My thoughts are more towards expanding the hobby to include women as equals.

sparrow, isn't it the same for women who smoke a pipe to feel the same way towards models of the same gender?
