I think it's ridiculous and it's a smack in the face to exceptional carvers and pipe makers in our history. "Any fool can use duct tape, it takes a man knowing what he is doing to build it."

Eh... that might possibly be taking it too far as it pertains to this pipe. It has no reflection on carvers whatsoever as this is a factory made pipe which was simply embellished with jewels, etc. by someone.
By the way, I still can't for the life of me make out what your avatar is? Granted my eyesight leaves much to be desired, but all I can seem to make out is a black square with some orange object in the upper left corner. Then again, it just might possibly be my computer/monitor.
