I just smoked baron's miskatonic and it was amazing. The flavors came out a little more. I also smoked a bowl of a house aro and it was good as well. Stayed cool through out both bowls and even picked up a little coloring.

Glad you got the package voorhees. Turns out it was very cheap to ship because we are so close.

They are quality pipes and Yavez is a great guy. Did you see the PM Meer thread? They are $119 shipped. I'm pretty sure they have some at smokingpipes.com for $97.

Nice pipe!
Now I want a Storient Meer!
Before the last couple days, I never really had much desire to try a meerschaum... I don't know what it is, but I'm starting to have that itch. I guess I just want a purer smoke, above all...
I've only been smoking cobs, and they will probably continue to be my workhorses, but I just won my first briars - a Grabow and Medico - I think it's only a matter of time before I get a meerschaum!

Sparroa, I've actually never had a cob. I have heard they are great smokers and for a great price. The storient meers might set you back a little more but it is definitely worth it.

They are an everyman pipe - you can't go wrong with one for regular use.
I wouldn't mind having a seasoned and well-coloured meerschaum to call my own, though...
I definitely like how Storient is a small maker with high quality materials - I've seen some of the custom work on their website and it definitely looks good! I'd probably start with a classic bent billiard but there are lots of appealing designs to consider.

Because he uses the highest quality meer you get a stronger pipe and if you buy a smooth pipe it will color faster.

The price is great - I just hope there are models I like left at SmokingPipes by the time I am ready to order... Worse comes to worse I can buy direct from Storient, they have Paypal by the looks of it... I'd love to have a nice pipe to keep for years to come - meerschaum seems like a great start. They look so good as they take on their colour, I have to say. I wish I had an idea for an intricately carved one that had meaning to me, but for now a straight model would suffice.
