Thanks Uncle Arthur. My BCs smoke like a dream. It is my opinion that BCs will find some level of prominence as they gain more recognition. I read that they have only really been available in the States since the late 90s. They have that certain Objet d'art as it were.
My Corsar has an interesting history. When I acquired it it wouldn't pull... at all. The tenon was stuck in the mortise but the stem would come out with no problems. You couldn't run a pipe cleaner through the thing. I uh carefully removed the tenon(it finally came out with the stem in one motion somehow) but still couldn't get a pipe cleaner though. I found the metal stinger embedded in the mortise/shank. Once I pried that out the bit went back in with no issues and the ol' mademoiselle has been prime ever since.

It's amazing how different pipe guys have different experiences with different pipes. In another thread on the worst pipe, I told how a BC was the worst pipe I ever smoked. Just goes to show ya that there are no "absolutes" in pipe smokeing.
By the way, Briar Bully, do you know who's picture you're using as an avatar? I do.
