Peterson's Nightcap and S'mores

I'm certain that this confession will likely be tantamount to heresy and desecration, but it must be said. This evening, my son and I were enjoying a fire in the backyard pit. I was enjoying a bowl of Nightcap in my Stanwell HCA and he was preparing s'mores. I couldn't resist the little sweet treat and found the combination unique and delicious. Fear not, the pipe didn't suffer from any marshmallow contamination!

I think you’ve just started a new thread... pipe pairings! Looks like I’m gonna try this... I personally enjoy a steak, potatoes, beans, and some burley blends.

What do we eat or drink and with what tobacco?!

I for one don't mix food and tobacco. One and then the other. However It's either coffee or Mountain Dew with a pipe for me.

I was meaning when you smoke AFTER your meal! Haha I have yet to try coffee. That’s another rabbit hole itself! I usually drink a coke with mine

Water, coffee, or booze, depending on the time of day/day of the week.

While like most of us, I generally don't eat while I'm smoking, I've found that having a little nibble of chocolate (especially dark chocolate) while smoking an English or a Burley based blend can be a great combination.

Coffee and booze are classic pairings with a pipe. I've mentioned it here before though and I'll say it again, milk is a staple to pair with a pipe for me. I am a fan of milk though, and usually drink at least one large glass a day. So pairing it with a pipe seemed natural to me the first time I did it.

Lipton makes a sweetened and lemoned ice tea in a can that I'm pretty sure most tea purists will snurl their lips at, yet brings out an incredible nectar-like side flavor to Nightcap.

Wait, is that oxidation or marshmallow on the bit? Actually, sounds good to me, flavor-wise. I have a little trouble shifting between food I chew and tobacco smoke, but if you can get it going together, you may have discovered something. S'mores with your kid is good any time. My wife and I are not "spring chickens," but she loves to make s'mores, and I love to eat them with her.
