My lovely wife picked up a tin of this for me today. I haven't smoked any as of yet but the tin note smells of fruit, and vanilla and rum. I will post once I have a bowl in a little bit. I can't wait to try it out it smells SOOO good I just wanna eat it!

Hi Cavendish,

Connoisseurs' Choice is one of my Favorite blends. I really love it. This along with Ashton Guilty Pleasure, Ashton Smooth sailing, Peterson Gold Blend are all my top picks.

Enjoy

If you enjoy it, give Sunset Breeze a try, I found after opening and putting in a sealed jar for a few weeks, it blended even better. Another good one from Petersons id DeLuxe Mixture....

I just smoked half a bowl and WOW is this stuff good! It's like eating fruit and cream, and the rum and vanilla really smooth it all out. I will definatley be adding a couple tins of this to my next order! This isn't going in a jar lol I'll have it gone by monday morning lol

Good stuff! I loved it as well at first taste..... I do find though that leaving Sunset in a jar for a few weeks tops it. Have you tried any of 4 noggins blends?

I've got a tin sitting and waiting to crack open. I've got so many open samples to get through right now so its gonna have to wait for a bit longer, can't wait to try it

It's good brdavidson! When I opened it the tin notes were just SO strong and sweet/creamy smelling.
After smoking about 5 bowls of this stuff I find that near the end it kind of loses it fruity tastes and it takes on a creamy rummy cigar taste. It definatley gets stronger and more concentrated at the end of the bowl and helps cake nice. There is absoutly zero tounge bite. I packed a bowl right from the tin as it felt dry enough, but it was getting wet and steamy about 1/3 of the way through so I let my pipe rest to dry a bit but it didn't help. I let the contents dry for about 15min and it made a HUGE difference. It is definatley up in my weekly rotation. I did smoke a bowl of MacB Royal after 3 bowls of this and it felt as if the MacB had no flavor until about half way though. This is definatly a strong flavored aro and it gives a goo nic punch too!

Just shows different tastes. Didn't care for this myself
Exactly. To each their own as we all say. I am trying to like flakes, but so far only tried EF and not a fan. Got some Orlik coming in my order so I will post my review on that one once it arrives

I really enjoyed Peterson's Connoisseur's Choice; received it as a gift and used it up in a few months, in rotation. I thought it

got better as time went on, as much time as it lasted. I wasn't delighted immediately, but it grew on me pretty fast.

I like it. It's pretty nice blend. I find the nic hit a little much for me and I have to set it down half way through. It is a little sticky and leaves really bad ghosting in the bowl. I solved this by soaking a paper towel with my saliva and 'reaming the bowl with it. Let it dry for a day and it was GTG. Sounds gross but I use saliva soaked Q-tips to clean around the rim of my bowls. Takes the black oil off nicely.

Aside from the lakelands (if you count those as aromatic), CC is one of my favorite aromatic blends.

Conoisseur's Choice is really, really good. One of my favourite blends ever. But still, Holiday Special 2010 is better ;-$
