I have been looking at Blakemar pipes, havn't got one in my collection and they are made only a few miles from where I live.

I have a Blakemar, I used to have two. The second was bought right out of my mouth at a pipe show. Excellent pipes, and I'll keep an eye out for the "Smokewell" mark.

Tobakenist and Bigvan - I've had a closer look at my "Smokewell" Bulldog and it does indeed have a stamp saying it is from "Blakemar of England". I would certainly recommend looking out for one as mine cost £17.99 or a little under $28 before shipping costs. It smokes really nicely and is very comfortable to hold.
